Third-Degree Burns

Third-degree burns are the most serious types of burn injuries and result in damage deep into the layers of skin and potentially harm your fat, muscles, nerves, and bones in the area of the burn. You may not feel pain as a result of third-degree burns because of the damage done to nerve endings in the affected area.

Inhalation Burns

Inhalation burns cause damage to the airways and down into your lungs. They often result in long-term problems with breathing and pain in your chest.
