Paul Caputo Accepted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA)

We are pleased to announce that our firm’s founding partner, Attorney Paul Caputo, has become a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He will now have access to the four National Board Meetings held every year, along with additional seminars, special events, and opportunities for networking and professional development.

Membership is by invitation only, and each lawyer or judge must:

• Be a member of the Bar of the State, province, district, or territory where they practice
• Exhibit high personal character
• Follow ABOTA’s Code of Professionalism
• Adhere to ABOTA’s Principles of Civility, Integrity, and Professionalism
• Have 5 or more years of experience as a trial lawyer
• Have tried 20 or more civil jury trials to conclusion
• Have additional litigation experience

Founded in 1958, ABOTA is comprised of more than 7,600 renowned lawyers and judges throughout the United States. The association’s central focus is preserving and upholding the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees every citizen’s right to a civil jury trial.
