A fatal car accident occurred in front of a high school in San Jose recently that left one man dead and another with unknown injuries, according to an article on The vehicle apparently lost control as it traveled east on Chynoweth Avenue around 7 p.m. Residents who heard the crash called 911 and police arrived to a silver 1990s model vehicle, which had slammed into a telephone pole and was crushed by the impact. Police said the occupant who sustained fatal injuries did not appear to be a high school student. The 18-year-old crash survivor was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
